Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland is a place with centuries of fascinating history. Which is why I was so excited to go and see it! As I explored the old ruins, I kept circling back to this window. I have a fascination with windows in old and/or abandoned places. For me, it’s like peeking into the past. Thinking of all the people before who have stood where I am and who have looked out at this same view. It blurs the lines of past and present. Eventually, I just set up the camera and captured this photo. I always get a small chuckle when I see this photo because after I finished photographing I turned around to see a small line had formed behind me. Apparently other people thought it was a good idea as well.
