I was in Acadia National Park on my way to photograph a lighthouse for sunset when I drove past this bridge. The bridge found in Somerville Maine on Mount Desert and I had to stop and capture this beautiful scene.

I was in Acadia National Park on my way to photograph a lighthouse for sunset when I drove past this bridge. I wasn’t really paying attention at the time so I turned around to get a better look. I pulled into the parking lot and instantly remembered seeing pictures of this bridge while doing my research for this trip. Somehow I forgot about it when planning things out, a big oversight on my part. While getting out of the car, I noticed that no one was around so I just stood there enjoying the quiet and beauty of the scene before pulling my camera out. As I walked around I kept feeling like I was intruding on this space. Because of that feeling, I remember actively deciding not even cross the bridge.
