Photos from Glacier National Park

Sorry for the delay! Here are 18 photos from my trip to Glacier National Park. What do you think? If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Cracker Lake

I have never seen a lake like Cracker Lake. When we arrived, it was a rich Opaque Turquoise. Then, when I awoke at sunrise, I noticed the water was less Opaque which was until the sun hit the water and I watched it slowly transformed. You can see it on the 3rd image below.

Of course, if you know me and have read this blog before, you know I love photographing waterfalls. Here are several that I was lucky enough to see:

In order

1. Baring Falls

2. Hidden Falls

3. St Mary's Falls

4 & 5. Virginia Falls

Going to the Sun Road

If you have not driven the iconic Going to the Sun Road, then you should add it to your bucket list! One of the most beautiful scenic drives in the country. You wind your way up through the mountains looking at astonishing views.

Many Glacier

Many Glacier is the beautiful northern part of the park. It's here where we began our hike to Cracker Lake. The two images below are of two different lakes from the area

1. Swiftcurrent Lake (Sunrise)

2. Grinnell Lake

Hidden Lake

Do you like flowers and lakes? Then this is a place you want to visit. A small hike found at Logans Pass, the highest part of the park. Fields of wild flowers and a stunning mountain lake are what defines the Hidden Lake hiking trail.
