Minnesota Waterfalls 1 (Well Mostly)

Hello everyone! With the weather being so nice lately I have been doing a lot more exploring around Minnesota. So of course that means waterfalls! This is my first installment of the waterfalls found in the 'land of 10,000 lakes'. All of these are found within 1.5 hours from Minneapolis, and pretty much (expect for one) in the bottom half of the state. Please let me know what you think, do you have a favorite?

Minneopa Falls

Said by many to be the most scenic waterfall in southern Minnesota. In my opinion it's hard to dispute this.

Close to Minneopa Falls, this beauty was recently purchased by the city. However despite the worn path, you have to trespass on private property to hike to the bottom.

Vermillion Falls

Vermillion Falls is a fun little gem found in the town of Hastings. There was so much mist coming from here that when i crossed this ridge, everything got soaked within minutes!

Willow Falls

Alright, so technically Willow Falls is in Wisconsin. But come on, its only 40 minutes away from me and its just across the state line!
